My Story

My name is Sara Beaner. I'm a wife, mother of 10 (3 in heaven due to miscarriages), and Catholic Artist located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. My life is centered around my love for God and my Catholic faith!
As we are all co-creators with God, I create paintings and restore statues through the gifts He has bestowed on me.
Paintings

Before my brush even touches the canvas, I begin with prayer — often the rosary — and continue this prayer throughout the painting. Each piece becomes a spiritual offering. My hope is that God's love, which inspires and sustains me, radiates from every painting and touches the hearts of those who see it.
I specialize in paintings of:
- Saints (e.g. St. Joseph, St. Therese, etc.)
- Jesus Christ and Marian Images
- Church and Nature Scenes
Statue Restoration

Over the years, God has entrusted me with many old statues in need of restoration — some from parishes, others from private collections. These statues carry deep spiritual significance for the individuals or communicate who bring them to me.
Like my paintings, each restoration is steeped in prayer. My goal is not only to repair the physical statue, but to renew its role as a vessel of God's presence and love.
I work with statues made of:
- Wood
- Resin
- Plaster
- Cement

What Sets Me Apart
When we do God's will in this world, we become co-creators with Him. In the same way, when I begin my work, my hand and brush become His tool and channel to spread His love.
Unlike mass-produced art or commercial restoration outfits, my work is deeply personal and spiritually intentional. Every brush-stroke, every fixed chip in a statue is a prayer in itself.
When you purchase a piece or request restoration, you're not just receiving art — you're participating in that prayer and becoming part of something sacred.
Why I Do It
My deepest desire is that people encounter God's love. His love and beauty surround us in creation. I believe sacred art can be a doorway to that encounter.
My hope is that my work reflects even a small glimpse of His glory and helps others draw closer to Him.
